Admin panel tour

How to access the FiveGuardian5 panel and what each menu section is for.

Accessing the panel

The admin panel is at https://twh.fiveguardian5.com. Sign in with your administrator account through the configured identity provider (for example, Google). The panel UI is in English; this documentation uses the exact menu names in bold.

The panel controls who can connect and to what. A wrong change to a policy, a group or DNS can disconnect many users at once. Review changes carefully and, when in doubt, check with the FiveGuardian5 support team.

Control Center

An overview of the network state: devices, connections and access. Use it as a starting point to verify at a glance that everything works and to see which devices can communicate with each other under the current policies.

Peers and Access Control

  • Peers: the devices registered in the network, their connection status and their groups. See Devices.
  • Access Control › Policies: rules that define which groups can communicate with which others and over which protocols. See Policies and groups.
  • Access Control › Groups: groupings of devices and users used by policies.
  • Access Control › Posture Checks: conditions a device must meet to get access. See Posture checks.

Network Routing, Reverse Proxy and DNS

  • Network Routing › Networks and Routes: access to private networks and resources, and the internet exit. See Networks and routes.
  • Reverse Proxy (beta): controlled publishing of internal services. See Reverse proxy.
  • DNS (Nameservers, Zones, DNS Settings): name resolution for devices. See DNS.

Team and Activity

  • Team › Users and Service Users: people and technical accounts with access. See Users and access.
  • Activity › Audit Events and Traffic Events: records of admin changes and, when the Traffic Events module is active in your organization, of connections. See Activity and auditing.

Settings

  • Authentication: sign-in parameters and approval of users and devices.
  • Setup Keys: keys to register devices. See Setup keys.
  • Identity Providers: sign-in providers such as Google. See Identity providers.
  • Groups and Permissions: group options and what each role can do in the panel.
  • Networks and Clients: general network options and client behavior on devices. These settings affect every device; coordinate any change with the FiveGuardian5 support team.
  • Metrics: client metrics. Notifications: alerts (premium module).
  • Danger zone: irreversible account actions. Do not use them without explicit guidance from the FiveGuardian5 support team.

Integrations

Identity Provider Sync, Event Streaming and EDR connect FiveGuardian5 with other platforms. They are premium modules; see Integrations and Licensing and premium modules.

A managed service

FiveGuardian5 is a managed service: the FiveGuardian5 team takes care of the infrastructure, installation, server updates and updates of the protection on devices, and service availability. The client's administrators manage users, groups, policies and functional settings from the panel. If you find references to installing, migrating or upgrading the server, the FiveGuardian5 team performs those tasks; contact Support.
